"First flight" or airline travel amenities I am sure anyone would miss

How about flight deck visits for they were kind of cool. Too bad that they were now "unthinkable" in light of the "incidents," of September 11, 2001 in terms of still being done. :(

As if any Joe or Jane Average air traveler was even thinking of highjacking a plane.
