I have a secret eviction
yes, i have an eviction that i've lied about many times on rental forms since it occurred 5 years ago. i was in college, and our new landlord promised us verbally that he would fix a lot of things as soon as we moved in (i was too damn naive to ask for everything in writing). so, we moved in, he never fixed anything, i withheld my security (not my rent tho), and he evicted me (let's just say that he received a little karmic payback shortly thereafter;)

1. Well, it hasn't stopped you from getting other apartments
so that's good. :-)

3. It's really dificult to evict someone in Mass.
I should know-I'm a landlord. If you make decent money, you should try to buy a condo while the interest rates are low. There are lots of slumlords that take advantage of young people and students in Boston.
