My Shar-pei is an anti-fundie religious bigot

Whenever we're confronted by fundies, either as missionaries or just people in the neighborhood, my Shar-pei starts shrieking bloody murder and desperately tries to get at the throats of fundies. When confronted with normal strangers, he's friendly and happy, but if they're carrying a Bible, driving a car with a W sticker, or just holding extremist religious beliefs, he goes ape-shit. It's like he can smell the intolerance or something. And adult Shar-peis are ugly dogs, too- all those wrinkles get kind of weird looking, and their ears resemble fleshy horns.

What can I say? My Shar-pei hates fundies. He goes berzerk.

...when the fundies come knocking on doors in our nieghborhood. Mutts just don't seem to take to all that guilt and paranoia the fundies peddle. Darn freethinking quadrapeds.

2. We have a Chow and a Shar-Pei

When we walk our dogs, people say, "Look at that beautiful Chow Chow! And what an interesting looking other dog!" Very few people realize that Shar-peis don't stay that cute.

On edit: a few years ago, my parrot decided he hated my mother. I don't know what elicited the change, but he can't stand her and will bite her if he gets the chance.
