7. No? You could have made it into a paid nap instead.
I'd sit through just about anything as long as I had enough popcorn.

5. Troy
An aquaintance of my partner's had a pirated copy that he lent us. It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Not only was the plot bad, but it was recorded on dvd by someone in the theatre and the picture was very flat looking and the sound was horrible.

9. Well, I Certainly Tried Last Weekend
My girlfriend owns a rental apartment and hadn't heard from the tenant in awhile. We went there on Saturday and it had apparently been hit by a police raid -- everything was torn up and there were holes in the walls and ceilings. They must have been searching for drugs.

In the back yard, there was a whole box of CDs and DVDs scattered around. Since they included titles like Lord of the Rings and X-Men, I scooped them up and took them home.

About a third of them were unmarked pirated tapes, including some pretty bad porn. Problem is, they had been out in the rain and most of them didn't work. And to top it off, my DVD player no longer works. Serves me right.

20. Pre-viewing of "The Passion of the Christ"
I was invited to go with a minister friend. It was free and controversial so I went. In retrospect, it wasn't worth nearly what I paid.

I have no idea why that movie was not given an NC-17 rating due to violence.
