WHo's watching "Rudolph the rednosed reindeer" tonight?
I just did...man I love that special. IT reminds me of when I was a little kid. My sister and I used to watch it together. Now, no matter how far apart we are...we phone each other when it's on.

If I could describe the feeling that movie gives me...I'd be rich.

9. Claymation! That's the word I couldn't think of!
Yes I just watched it and I thought....Huh? how come as a kid I never noticed that when rudolph was trapped in the cave with the abominal snowman that they came to save him by making pig noises outside the cave... Somehow all of these years I missed that until tonight.

16. He didn't need to. Apparently all he had to do
was walk straight at him waving his hands in the air and it backed him right over the cliff. Who knew abominal snowmen could be so easily defeated?

He could of put his eye out with his ice pick. It's all fun and games till someone gets their eye put out.

;-)

6. My son must have been watching it,
because he called me earlier this evening, asking, "So, was Rudulph not one of Santa's official reindeer?"

OK, my son is 23 years old, a college graduate, who is applying to go to school for post graduate work in Cairo. And he's calling to see why Rudolph isn't listed in Santa's "on Prancer, on Dancer, on Donner and Blitzen..." quote.

13. Twisted Rudolf reindeer songs
(original)
Rudolf, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolf
play in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolf with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee:
"Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!"

------------------------------

Rudolf the red nose Gangster,
Had a very shiny gun
And if you ever saw it,
You would even want to run.

One very foggy Christmas eve,
Santa came and said
Rudolf with your gun so bright,
Will you shoot my wife tonight?

Rudolf the red nose gangster,
Shot Santa's wife dead
And if you ever saw her,
She would have a hole in her head.

Rudolf the Mutant Reindeer,
Had a very shiny nose,
And on thanks to Olyoptics,
You would even say it glows,
All of the other mutants,
Used to brood and call him names,
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in all the x-book angst,

Then one smoggy New York day,
Bob Harras came to say,
Rudolph, you freaky red-nosed geek,
Won't you star in three titles a week.

Then all the Mutants loved him,
As they shouted out with glee,
Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer
You're Staring in X-book Five Thousand Three.

19. From the days when there were only 4 channels on tv
and an actual childrens show was something special. I remember getting excited about Rudolph, The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella with Leslie Ann Warren.

21. Is Rudolph the only children's Christmas special on network tv?
All the other old ones seem to be on cable on ABC Family network. Used to be there were always several on every week before Christmas, but not now.

I watched it too, never miss it if I can help it.
