I have a few questions for anyone who did Theatre/Drama in high school... |
|
1. Did your school compete in One-Act Play competitions?
2. What state high school associations have state-wide drama/one-act play competitions?
3. What high schools in the U.S. have outstanding Drama programs?
Peace,

2. My HS had a night of one-acts. |
|
But it never went into competition anywhere. I went to a fairly affluent HS in the 'burb of Massachusetts in the late '70's-early '80's.

3. I know we had one-act play competitions locally |
|
But I don't know if it was statewide as well, though I assume so -- we had state competitions for just about everything else. This is Texas, BTW. The district competition was often at my high school because we had a good auditorium for it.

My school never did very well, though.

High Schools for the Performing and Visual Arts come to mind (I know there's one in Texas and one in New York -- not sure of elsewhere.)
