1. Hell YES
I caught the Smile tour a month ago. Needless to say, he's STILL amazing. Catch him live if you get the chance. His backing band (featuring the Wondermints) is AMAZING-- singing nine-part harmonies in some spots.

Listening to the instrumental and vocal tracks from Pet Sounds, it's clear that he was one of the best and most innovative arrangers in pop at the time.
