Childhood songs fraught with existential angst. |
|
Even when I was young, I remember feeling deeply upset and apprehensive about Wimpy's eager willingness to sacrifice his future (his Tuesday) for a hamburger today. Now I can see that they were really trying to prepare us for the shortage of resources and increased competition we would face in the New World Order.
Do you have any favorite childhood songs that have taken on a deeper, darker meaning?
