What are things that you know are true, but which just don't feel true.

Here's one that I KNOW is true, but just doesn't feel true.

In the lottery, you pick certain numbers out of other numbers and they come up in a specific order. Now some people keep track of winning numbers and think that this will help them pick the winning numbers. And say the winning numbers were 10 4 5 2 4 , there would probably be few people that would bet those same numbers the following week, much less in the same sequence. But, because they don't remove the numbers, it is just as likely that 10 4 5 2 4 will come up again as any other number. It just doesn't feel right.
