I watched "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" again last night, starring Elizabeth Taylor (in her very finest role), with Richard Burton, Sandy Dennis and George Segal.
Boy, those two kids were a seriously disfunctional couple.

3. Richard was ROBBED of an Oscar! |
|
Elizabeth won but I can't recall if Richard was even nominated.
That's a great film.

Burton deserved the Oscar for both of those roles. And in "Virginia Woolf" he more than held his own, actingwise, against Elizabeth. Hell, Sandy Dennis won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for "Virginia Woolf"

You can't afford to waste good liquor... Not on YOUR salary!
Martha, in my mind you're buried in cement right up to the neck... No... up to the nose. It's much quieter.
