can someone explain how the arabian penisula became named after a family who was probably not of the peninsula and now has complete control of all wealth of that area and use it to only benefit themselves while the people get scraps and loss of freedom ?

are very wealthy. A middle class family is looked down upon in Saudi Arabia because they only have four servants and three Mercedes rather than the twelve servants and five Rolls-Royce of the elite.
