My problem is that I always arrive on "Latin time".

But my boss was very understanding. Instead of firing me after I'd been late about 100 times, we decided to change my schedule from 8-5 to 9-6 instead. Much, much better.

I never heard of Native time, but my black friends call it "colored time" and my asian friends call it "asian time".

17. I didn't realize that until this thread, hehe |

My family uses CP time (colored people time). My mom is always telling me I run on it. :P
When I went to Maui I heard "Hawaiian time" a lot.
Of course if you're Pagan, there's Pagan Standard Time: if the flyer/posting says the circle starts at 7pm, people will start showing up at 8, the altar set up at 9 and the actual circle will be cast at 10. :silly:

And 99% of the time when I know I will be late, I call to let them know that.

But people who are consistently late drive me bats!
I was meeting a friend on Tuesday to travel together to a luncheon. The morning got out of hand and I knew I was going to be late. I called to advise her. Do't know why i bothered. She was 20 minutes later than I was... and then she had to stop at the grocery store to pick up something.

now I always seem to be late, if I make it at all. Not sure what happened. I still stress about it but I can't seem to get my shit together.

...I am never late. I have an internal clock that prevents it. I have tried, but I just can't be late.

Every one knows (I tell them) my patience has limitations regarding tardiness when there is an opportunity to let me know. If there is and you don't, I'm cranky if you're 15 minutes late and gone at 30 minutes. With the ubiquity of cell phones these days, nearly everyone I know carries one, acceptable excuses are fewer and farther between. I once read somewhere that chronic tardiness is a passive/aggressive control issue and I believe that to be absolutely true.
