First speeding ticket in fifteen years!

Ok, I admit my foot is a wee bit heavy, and I push the envelope a bit on occasion (ONLY whenever the engine is on), but I'm a fairly safe driver, and like to think I follow the rules of the road.

But today it was my bad, and I admit it. The cool part is I got a good cop who I actually LIKED, which made it a bit easier. And I can take the driving course and get it kicked off my record, so it's not a major thing. But still, FIFTEEN YEARS!

The really nasty part is it happened just after I passed a horrible roll-over accident at an off-ramp, and I told myself it was time to pay attention and slow down a bit. Shows how much I listen to myself!

I had it coming.....trying to get a two hour drive out of the way to move my grandma 2 blocks. I saw the cop, I slowed down enough for him to catch me. State boy too. How dumb could I be. A few nights later in the middle of the night, I had gone to the grocery so I wouldn't have to take the baby and all at once I saw red lights in my back window, I looked at my speed and was below the limit and I thought *shit*:wtf: I began to pull over, and he wasn't even after me....shew I guess once they get you, you get paranoid lol
