I won $1,000 at tropicana and a few hundred on the elvis ones. I was going to be going in a few weeks but mom is in ICU so I am staying home while the wife and daughter go to CA to visit family for the holidays (which is what I was going to do - drive out to CA from OH, stop in Vegas on way home and play. I used to live close to there and have had a lot of fun in Vegas).

Have a good time and I hope you win big! Last casino I was at was in Chicago, someone won $35k on the $5 slot machine behind me. Another guy was up $70k on the craps table we were watching. Have fun!

19. Got good news tonight

Mom is moving to a room. Been in ICU over two weeks, tonight she moved to her new room. She will be there a week or two then in rehab. I will be home alone for two weeks during christmas, but no big deal overall (I insisted wife go see he family as planned, an my 3 yr old will have a blast). I will take my vacation here, spend time on DU with my friends, and go see mom (dad told her tonight I was staying home instead of driving out and she smiled, can't talk much with the trach tube in).

sometimes I'll skip a few years.

I'm really strict on not going over my limit but I'll keep going when I am winning a bit.

I play mostly slots because I don't think I move fast enough to the card tables etc.. I need to get better at playing those first.

... be careful if you ride the rollercoaster in the New York, New York casino.. that thing almost snapped my neck.. seriosuly.. be careful if you go on that.

Um.. do check out the milenium tower.. also.. grab the little book of coupons they pass out everywhere, in there we found a night time, champagne-served helicopter tour over the city.. for 54.99 a person! Couldn't believe the deal... GREAT fun!

28. Normally i love them..

(coasters).. but I went around one turn and it caught me off guard i suppose.. (it happened so fast) then next thing I know me head is beiing forced downward by the Gs for a few seconds.. like forward and down almost like if you try to touch your chin to your breastbone.. it hurt BAD and pulled the muscles pretty good and for a second or two I was scared.. "holy Moses, this thing is gonna break my head off!.." seriously..

It was sore as hell all day..
