DU Mustang owners check in here:
I don't have one at present, but I've had six, either wholly owned of part-owned, in my lifetime:

1990 LX 5.0 fastback, absolutely showroom condition, but with a supercharged 351 and a bunch of other stuff.

1985 Cobra 5.0 alum heads, 8,000 original KMs, ported/polished/balanced/decked, etc

1988 LX coupe, bone stock.

1991 GT with 347 stroker and NOS. Note: engine blew up.

1982 pace car lookalike (4-cylinder), cost $100.

1967 coupe 289 3-speed auto (stolen).

I've also built up a few 302 and 351 engines for other people.
I took an '05 GT out today for a test-drive...this may be the CanuckAmok Post-Divorce/Pre-Midlife Crisis-Mobile.

looked like crap. It was an okay car, but nothing to write home about.

Now I have a 2003 Mustang convertible. I LOVE THIS CAR!!

Good to finally have a real Mustang. It's not a highend one, it's the cheapest form of Mustang, but it still hauls and drives incredibly well and is comfortable and FUN FUN FUN.

Someday I'd like to get an old one, like a 67.

5. My first car was a '67 Mustang, V8, when I was in college
That car could move. All my friends wanted to drive it; everyone else wanted to steal it. Got broken into several times; one time they popped the ignition out, but fortunately someone must have come along right then, because my car was still there. Then, some neighborhood kids that used to try to get us to give them beers found out it was my car, and nobody ever touched it again. :-)
