But then, McDonald's food can taste good. I still won't eat it, though.

18. My cousin is married to a guy
who writes for and helps to produce a top-rated sitcom which, like most sitcoms, is excruciatingly unfunny and stupid - but appeals to the masses. Like most people in the entertainment business he got his foot in the door because of who he knew - not what he knew or any talent he had - because he has none.

Reality tv isn't real and basically sucks, too, but I find the cast of characters generally more entertaining than the actors hired to deliver insipid, tired dialog masquerading as comedy.

16. Like reality shows, very few sitcoms are intelligent
On the whole, do you really think that sitcoms are more intelligent?

7. I hate reality shows with a passion
But a reality show I would watch would be one they filmed in the White House, falling the shrub around through his everyday bullshit, so the world can see how he really is.

It will be called My Dumb, Corrupt Obnoxious President.

13. Hate almost all, except Amazing Race
Now that's a great show! It takes you around the world, for free. I enjoyed this summer's series very much.

20. I like Amazing Race, too, though
most of the racers have no appreciation for or make the slightest attempt to try to appreciate the culture of the countries they race through. Some of them are just plain "Ugly American" stereotypes. Nonetheless, the pair that won last time were genuinely happy to be sseing the world and grateful for the opportunity.

This season it's all about models, wrestlers, and a former Playboy Playmate and her insane husband. It's becoming less a crazy travelogue and more a travelling freak show.

15. Some of them are actually not that bad
My roommate used to watch Joe Schmo on Spike every week, and I eventually had to admit that it was absolutely hilarious in some spots, just because of the guy's facial expressions and emotional reactions.

I like Fear Factor, that's about it. I'm hooked on that "Real Gilligan's Island" for some reason. I don't know why.
