LIBERAL/BLUE STATES CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!

Front (Micah 6:8): What does the Lord require of you but to love kindness, do justice and walk humbly with God? Inside: Merry Christmas

http://www.cafepress.com/shop/christmas/browse/Ne-1160_pv-goodhearts.14687396_p-2_N-3978+1269_bt-2

Written on the inside of these cards, as the old song goes, I'll have a blue Christmas without you. Only, in this case, they're the blue states that voted for John Kerry. A unique twist on an old idea

1. You do mean Progressive, don'tcha?
Edited on Fri Dec-03-04 09:42 AM by ClassWarrior
FDR and JFK were liberals. Good people, but of a different time.

By the way, the cards are cool.

5. Well I googled "liberal christmas cards"
Yes I call myself a progressive too not because I FEAR the word liberal I just like it better and it is a direct link back to the founding fathers.

2. That's an idea

I might hand write a message about bringing the troops home this year.

8. I'm putting a paper clip inside each of my cards this year
as a sign of resistance.

Link to discussion here at DU about the paper clips:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=1399359

"Apparently, the Norwegians wore paper clips on their lapels during the war as a show of solidarity and a silent protest against the fascists/nazis. What a perfect symbol for us, too, since ribbons have been co-opted by the righties to the point of meaningless cliches."
