7. Has the Paris kitty been abandoned there?
Did someone put the kitty and all of it's things there for a passerby?

16. Like an eviction? Nah.
He was part of a street musician's bit. Everyone tossed something into the hat to see the kitty. I didn't get a shot of the pair becase of the crowd.

4. Indeed, not only are you permitted to sleep all day, get free meals
and lead a care-free life, but you can also lick yourself in public!

What a way to live :)

3. Eee gads, my eyes started itching just looking at those pictures.
Sorry, but that would be my definition of hell. Cute kitties, but their presence on my bed would be the death of me.

As an aside, the fabric in the background of the top left picture is the same as a sofa I had for a long time. I liked decorating in those colors. Everything in my house is much darker now. Hmmm, the redecorating thread must have stuck in my head.

17. Me, too.
I immediately thought of my family, who would have to be doped up constantly on allergy meds and that still probably wouldn't work.

Cute kitties, but best not in my house!

9. They claim the bed in the day time, and at night
Willie sleeps snuggled next to my husband..
Marvin drapes himself scross my neck.
Mommie sleeps on my FEET..
Amber sleeps under the covers..
Skunkie sleeps on a chair in the dining room.
Sweetie Pie and Chinny Chin sleep on a gigantic floor pillow in the family room.
Sammy sleeps on the top shelf of the cat tower.
Sara just rotates spots, pushing the others out of their preferred spots as she bulldozes her way around..

As soon as we fall asleep, they tend to start wandering around, and spooking themselves to imaginary "noises".. and then of coourse, Sammy often wakes us up to "play ball".. He has been known to drop a slightly soggy foam ball my face at night, as he climbs on top of me...all 16 lbs of him...

It's a Cat Circus at our house...

15. My babies have a leopard hammock
and of course no one wants to be in it, until 2 or more decide to snooze in it..It barely accomodates ONE (we bought it for them when they were kittens)..
With TWO full grown cats in it, it bottoms out, and yet they still enjoy it :)

I bought pvc pipe and fabric to make a big hammock for them, but never got around to it :(
