My site was hacked- Ipowerweb users should read this

And it appears it wasn't the only one. Anyone who has an Ipowerweb forum, be very very careful and if you have any problems, PM me.

For my members who've been so patient, we should be back up later this afternoon. I was able to access at least PART of the site today, so I'll try sending out a mass e-mail later.

1. For anyone who uses Ipowerweb

Go to this link and read up on the problem... Ipowerweb has fixed the security problem with a patch, but there are a few simple ways to make sure you don't have evil code hiding anywhere. Do it now and save yourself the headache I've had for the last 24 hours :crazy:

Well, or ignorant user's IP. I always write the abuse team at the ISP. You could, by taking action yourself, seriously fuck up some little old lady whose IP add was used to mask the real perpetrator.

That's why I was curious. Is your site a forum? If so, I can tell you a quick way to look for the code. Mine went down a couple of times and came back up before it crashed for good.... so be careful.
