My morning: "How dare you?!"

I woke up early and hopped into a big bubble bath. After about 5 minutes in the bath, the verbal 4-year-old and strong, silent 2-year-old walk in. The 4-year-old immediately begins to strip off her and her brother's clothing while giving me a tongue lashing about having a bubble bath all to myself. I sat in semi-shock as they both began climbing into the bath with me. Before sitting down in the water, the 2-year-old reached out to turn my face to his own, "Yeah! How dare you?!" he said.

After our bath, we dressed and I was asked to give them cereal and juice for breakfast. I poured the cornflakes and filled two glasses with grape juice. Upon seeing breakfast, my socially-aware 4-year-old once again went off. Didn't I realize that grape juice is not to be served with cornflakes? It goes with Cheerios. I agreed and apologized for my error of judgement. The 2-year-old tugged on my shirt hem, "Yeah. How dare you?!"

Yesterday, my 2-year-old son was language challenged. He said maybe five things on good days: Yaw (yes); No; Tank Ewe (thank you); Waddint Me (Wasn't Me); and Kee-Kat (kitty cat). Today he's the yes man for the social mafia?

Where did she grow up a barn? Everyone knows Grape juice should only be served with rice crispies!
