"NEW LONDON (AP) -- New London police are investigating an incident involving hallucinogenic mushrooms at Mitchell College.

Police say one student suffered cardiac arrest early today and another student wandered off into the woods and was tracked down by a state police bloodhound.

Police say several students were involved with the mushrooms. The student who had the caridac problem was taken to a nearby hospital.

The other student that wandered away from the dorm was found in a wooded area and taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is continuing."

1. Psilocybin Caused a Cardiac Problem?
That just doesn't sound right. Maybe he was using cocaine at the same time.

2. Sounds more like Amanita Muscaria
Thanks to countless ads in High Times, a lot of people think Amanitas are safe. Far from it.

3. Oh, My God!
That I would believe. Amanita Muscaria is a deadly toxin. It has to taken in just the right quantities to get the right hallucinogenic effects. And a couple of stoners sitting around the dorm is not the right environment to make that decision.

I've seen those ads, too, and after reading up on it, I was afraid to buy any.
