What's your favorite movie line? |
|
I have several:
"Red Lectroids from Planet 10 by way of the 8th Dimension": Buckaroo Bonsai- I just love the way it sounds, and how paranoid it comes across in the context of the movie
"Back off man. I'm a scientist.": Ghostbusters
"You are worse than a week of yellow shitstorms.": Nothing but Trouble- A few years ago, I had a near-deadly case of post-operative jaundice. The medicine I was prescribed was supposed to absorb bilirubin; unfortunately it really didn't do that, it just gave me a week-long case of diarrhea. Understandably I can relate to the quote.
I have several others which I can't think of right now. What are yours?

I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I'd rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!
Other faves:
After all, there is nothing real outside our perception of reality, is there?
Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.
I like griping.
You can't shoot me! I have a very low threshold of death. My doctor says I can't have bullets enter my body at any time.
Can anyone name the movies?

"A dream to some-A NIGHTMARE TO OTHERS!": Excalibur- Merlin says this when he returns from purgatory enforced by Morgana. One of the reasons I love that movie so much is Nicol Williamson. He is absolutely amazing in that movie.

27. Tom Joad in Grapes of Wrath |
|
I don't know the whole line cause its just so long, a guy like me, well, I just kind of roll with the punches. It's the line where Tom is fixin' to leave the camp after he kilt the man that kilt smoky. Ol' Tom is rummagin' around the tent and ma comes in cause she heard a noise.....
They git to talkin' and Tom tells ma that no matter where he ends up, he'll always be with the underdog....
Where ever a cop is beatin' a hungry man, I'll be there......
Then, where ma explains to pa about the nature of men and womenm how men are jerky, reactin' to what goes on around them while a woman, well she has to be steady, flowin' like a stream, just to keep it all runnin'.....
