My husband got a job!!!!!

As some of you know, this has been the hardest year and a half I have ever been through, and I have been through some tough times.

DH has had his resume posted online for a year. Last week a company finally found it and called for an interview. Right now the job is temporary, but based on his interview they decided they want to make him a permanent employee! To top it off this job pays well and has possibilities for advancement! We were so worried that we would not be able to afford any kind of Christmas for our 2 1/2-year-old daughter, and now we can at least think about a few presents. This could not have come at a better time. Excuse me while I jump for joy!

I was unemployed for a couple of month due to our move to California. I am starting a temporary job on Monday. I am not sure if they'll make it permanent but I really hope.

11. boy, I have been there and done that and it is so wonderful when the job

finally does come through. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

My hub has been out of work more than once since we have been married and it was always horrible.

One good thing, you can have a fun Christmas with at 2 1/2 yr old without having to spend a ton of money. They don't really make the connection between what they see on TV and the fact that they can HAVE it until around 3.

Then next year you can do the big SantaClaus event..3 through 5 maybe 6 are the BEST Santa years.

(Maybe good things are starting to happen, I had a job interview yesterday and am called back for a formal interview Tuesday!!!!)

My husband has spent the last 4 years (coincidence?) randomly dealing with job loss and had spent the better part of this year unemployed. So I understand what a fantastic feeling of relief this is! Happy for you!

I went through it. I had enough for last Xmas, but this one would have been a disaster. I have a decent job with decent pay and OK benefits, after two years of looking. I know how you feel.
