21. Julila child says brains and eggs are the best for a hangover
Though I've never felt hungover enough to be so desperate to give it a try.

and the sad thing is, I probably would like brains, but I just can't get over the idea of them being, you know, brains.

Never had the courage to try to kidney, either.

But other than green peppers, I've never met something I didn't like, and that includes eel and some other "disgusting" Japanese foods and erstaz Asian foodstuffs.

I'm sure I'm limiting myself and missing out on something quite wonderful.

23. Eww, hate them
Hate the smell, hate the taste.

But I love red and yellow and orange and hot peppers.

Something about the green ones, though, really bothers my nose and my tongue.

And have potted meat and crackers. And I drank chocolate milk, and he'd have beer. This was until I learned to read, and I read the ingredients of the potted meat.

30. VYE-ENNA sausage
NOT Vee-enna, VYE-ENNA.
In Alabama, you HAVE to take a can of Vye-enna sausage when you go fishing. I believe this rule only applies to inland, fresh water fishing, not coastal/salt water angling.

6. "Meat of an unknown origin"
I kid you not, my friend was a truckdriver, and he used to pick it up from port elizabeth and deliver it to a factory that supplied "foodstuffs" to public schools and prisons and hospitals. It was imported from Australia ! It was also known as potted meat, yum.

I had something called a "Hillbilly Cheeseburger" when I was at a track while betting on the horses; fried spam topped w/ cheez whiz and chopped onions on wonder bread. And Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

It took me quite some time to recover...

...until I helped to make it one time.

Best way to describe making Scrapple: Put all your garbage in the trash compacter, compact it, slice it up, fry it up and put maple syrup on it.

YUCK

With it an abode of bliss...
--James Joyce, Ulysses

I'm your happy scrapple daddy
From the Pennsylvania farms
Your happy scrapple daddy
With all these piggish charms
Raised up in the woods
My taste is most refined
I'm your happy scrapple daddy
Bringing greasy good times!

I hope you love those pig feet
I really hope you do
Cause I love to see your chins
A-drippin' with goo
Start out on the feet
Eat the whole hog and kneesies
With my grinning greasy lips
I'm a wanderin', wailin' weenie

Pork liver
Lambie's tongues
Vienna Sausages
Aw, save me some
Chitlins, ah them chitlins
Calf brains and rare steaks
Linguisa and kielbasa
Eat your sister by mistake

Yummy yummy yummy gooey goo
Ah, what that meat eatin's gonna make you wanta do
You'll feel just like a bomber
With a big load of bombs
I'm your happy scrapple daddy
From the Pennsylvania farms

36. Answer to your question : what is mechanically separated poultry?
"Mechanically Separated Poultry
is a paste-like poultry product produced by forcing crushed bone and tissue through a sieve or similar device to separate bone from tissue. Mechanically separated poultry has been used in poultry products since 1969 after the National Academy of Sciences found it safe for use. In 1995 the final rule on mechanically separated poultry said it was safe to use without restrictions. However, it must be labeled as "mechanically separated chicken or turkey" in the ingredient statement. The final rule became effective Nov. 1996. "
