Poll question: Picture this |
|
Edited on Sat Dec-04-04 10:38 AM by HypnoToad
My local Sams Club, there is a big billbord that has a picture of a fully developed baby. The caption reads "After 10 weeks, I have my daddy's eyes!"
What should I do?
Edit: Added "local"

Kinda hard to avoid.
But, yes, they're easy to avoid and many almost or equally lucrative deals can be found elsewhere.
Except for hard drives, DVD+/-R(W) discs, and USB cables. And I will buy Boca brand soy products from them. Sams may be evil, but the 'health food' industry readily fleeces its customers too. Via Sams, I save 50% off the price of soy patties. For that instance, Sams is the lesser of two evils.
Besides, I don't care where I shop until society puts itself on the right track. Until then, there's only one direction it's going to continue to go.

I would love to evade Sam's totally, but I've got to go there for certain foods, like Boca, Fruit20, assorted fruit, etc.
It remains absolutely the only place where I can get pomegranates at a reasonable price. Whole Foods charges literally thrice as much.

Trust me, it's not your Sam's Club. Wal-Mart isn't even an American company.

5. They are anti-American, that's for sure. But who isn't? |
|
And they are not mine. It's simply a relative term.

10. I agree, but to quote Gingrich: |
|
"Words mean something."
We have to start saying THE Sam's Club, not MY Sams's Club. It shifts the mental framework when you talk about corporate America.
It's why I don't say "we" when I refer to the company I work for. To do so is a slave-mentality way of speaking.
