Bad cold sore! Anyone wanna kiss?

I woke up this morning to this evil thing on my upper lip. It keeps throbbing, growing and looking ever so attractive. Anyone have any remedies?

4. an ice cube directly on the sore for a minute of and minute on a minute

about 4 or more times a day or anytilme it stings or itches.. will turn off the virus.

By rescription from Dr. or a Dentist. Worked wonders for me after many years of suffering...I have only very minor infrequent occurrences now and decreasing!

10. It'll sting like hell briefly, but...

rubbing alcohol, on cotton ball or one of those wipes. Dab on the cold sore. Will help stop the spread of the lesion, and give it a chance to start healing on the outside.

12. Nursing moms have the cure....

One day after a nursing session, I accidentally put some of my milk on my lip when I had a cold sore, and lo and behold, the thing went awy overnight. At the time my kid was a nursing toddler so I knew my days of this self-made remedy were numbered. Now I eat plain yogurt when I am in this condition
