Boycott: Is it possible to live on only "blue" products?
I mean is there really enough with all the corporate giants with their hands in everything, can we really avoid money getting to corporations who in some way support the right wing?

1. Probably not
But a dollar out of their hands can't be a bad thing.

2. It'd be damned hard
but aiming for it is worthy even without perfection.

Looks like I'll be going to Shell from now on. But I'm still going to drink Coors Light and you can't stop me :P

on edit - WTF are accounting firms thinking giving to republicans when they are trying to destroy their jobs. That would really hurt if they got rid of income tax, am I wrong??

10. Yeah, that saddens me because I have deep chldhood memories of
Hallmark, its corporate headquarters in Liberty, and the whole Hallmark phenom, including some of the best tv broadcasts over the years available. So, I think it might be worth working on Halmmark, to get them to at least even out their donations.

8. Even if you buy from a highly blue retailer (e.g., Costco) you are still
buying lots of red products. I think it makes sense to try to find more blue sources of high $$ items and stores that at least send some $$ the Dem's way (e.g., Target), but, I think you have to weigh lots of factors. I mean does it make sense to drive past a Target 15 miles to get to a Costco? Think of the very red gas you are wasting!

It makes sense too to look at cable and DSL providers, phone, etc, where choices can be made, as well as car dealers, etc. Just my opinion.

11. Even if we cut into their profits by a few percentage points...
it's worth it.
