I'm in Northern CA, and my house just spent the last thirty seconds shaking. Not too bad, maybe a 4.5 on the richter. Ah, life's little excitements.

How do I put it in LBN? It's really not that big of a deal, they happen quite often around here. This one was a little more intense than normal though. I'm sure it'll be in the paper tomorrow.

Quakes really don't get to be a big deal until they get to around a 5 and above. I was in the Loma Prieta quake back in 1990, which was a 7.1, and that's something you remember.
This was like, I could feel a small vibration in the ground, which living in a fault prone area is not uncommon. So I tensed, braced myself to see if it would get worse, and then all of a sudden, WHAM! It's like there's a big loud crash and then everything starts shaking. But like I said, not too bad. Been through worse as I said.

I am used to the procedure. People report quakes here from time to time. It's fun tracking them.

I have been in a couple, but nothing major thankfully. They are a neat experience if there isn't damage.
