Here are the photos with the old owner's stuff in it. I'm more into modern, minimalist design (wich is easy when you're broke!)

Upstairs, downstairs

the living area

more stuff

Funky kitchen (needs a dishwasher...now that I'm single--KIDDING!)

My private roof deck and, yes, that's the Pacific Ocean and WA State out there)

13. "If" it stops raining. Emhasis on "if".
Imagine "The Day After Tomorrow", except with less parkas and more snorkels.

10. Oooohh!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
It feels so uplifting, cozy and serene, all at the same time. And I can just imagine when you get their dumb furniture out of there and put the minimalist touch in, which is exactly what it needs. And those hideous white shelves in the kitchen, too cluttered for that house.

It's just beautiful, many happy days ahead for you!

14. Nice place. How much did it set you back?
Just wondering since my wife and I are looking to move there in a couple of years.

17. That's what I was wondering ...
since I'm thinking of moving there too.

It's beautiful btw. Nice choice.

It would be cool if they'd leave that giant mirror over the fireplace.

18. I almost got that...
Edited on Sun Dec-05-04 12:46 AM by CanuckAmok
...because it's too big to get through the door...

In the last minute of negotiations, however, the seller bought a place with a "perfect' spot for that mirror, so he and a friend are lowering it down on a rope via the balcony... I don't think I want to witness that.

On edit: I did snag the barstools, though, and they're original 1951 stools from a decommissioned cruise ship.

19. Darn...so close!
Those mirrors are so expensive too. How the heck did they get it in there?
The barstools are a score though!

I have the same color of paint in my living room and bedroom that's pictured in that living room. I really like that color.

20. The place was finished after the mirror was installed.
You can't tell from the pic, but that mirror is about 10' tall.

It doesn't really go with my decor, but he was willing to leave it...

But I found out afterwards that it cost him $5000 originally!!

I think I'll stick with the aluminum foil I use as a mirror now!
