I'm a huge H.P. Lovecraft and Phillip K. Dick fan, if that helps. Please keep in mind: I really enjoy being scared out of my gourd, so I have a pretty high tolerance at this point.

9. I loved the first Alone in the Dark!
I wondered if they came out with more of those. I've been waiting for Dark Corners of the Earth to come out, but I have a feeling it may be shelved.

7. Clive Barker's "Undying" would be a good place to start.

And older game; but worth checking out. The new "Doom III"; if you have the system to run it.

And yes..System Shock 2 for sure.

8. If you can find a copy of the old game "the Neverhood"
and get it to run on your machine, that would be one.

Imagine a game in which the entire world is sculpted like claymation, a dixieland band plays in the background, and the wierdest story you ever heard of about an alternate universe, a dead god and his evil sons, and the mysterious clues they left behind plays out in front of you. And it's your mission to solve all these puzzles and discover the secrets of the alternate universe.

Crazy as hell.
