I haven't shaved or showered in three days- off to lowes I go!
I have been working on a project this weekend and wanted to get it done before the rain comes this afternoon. I wake up this morning at 6 and the water is off! I go out to the well house and see that the switch is melted! It looks like the two positive wires got loose somehow and destroyed the switch. Now I have to go out in public with a three days growth of facial hair and smelling like who knows what. Should I wear my overalls to complete the look or should I wear my PJ's??????

2. I'd go with jeans suitably arranged
to display plenty of "plumber's cleavage".

4. Seriously, the following is *not* a slam to the French:

I can appreciate your not wishing to reprazent our noble cause in a less-than-squeaky-clean look.

I've noticed that, in Paris, one can get around anywhere and be treated with respect as long as a jacket and trousers or a suit is worn.

Doesn't seem to matter if the suit is rumpled, the hair is a bit unruly, perhaps the whole get-up is a bit..musty.
Just wear the suit.
Once we clocked that, we would dress accordingly (ditching the slobby American tourist togs) and thus upgrade our respect level.

SO: if you can't shower wear "decent" clothes, brush your hair, and go for it.

Good luck and thanks for going!

(Mercury retro strikes your plumbing, it seems!)

5. Wow, that is excellent advice.
I will have to write that down in my little book of travel notes.

6. Carry a big brown paper bag around your bottle--
that will complete the look! (Sorry.....couldn't resist)
