Good bands that ended before sucking? |
|
I'll say Midnight Oil, solid stuff that just got better every album.

34. I don't know. Their Unplugged album bit the big one. |
|
Edited on Sun Dec-05-04 04:26 PM by SmileyBoy
Bleach, Incesticide, In Utero and all their live performances were the best. (Bleach was the best rock album from the 80's, IMO) Nevermind was too much of a pop album. Unplugged was just a joke.

Of course now I hear they are going to try and tour again with a new lead singer, so this could change!

26. Nope- it's all too REAL, I think the show is on in Australia, maybe? |
|
Or in the U.K.
Can't vouch for that though.
But the reality show part- absolutely true.

10. Don't they have a post-Zack incarnation? |
|
I heard a RATM track on the radio that I didn't recognize... the singer sounded like he was doing a really bad Zack de la Rocha impression.
But yeah, talk about a great band (at least before Zack left).

8. The Clash (and before everyone jumps on me, I realize they |
|
kicked Mick out of the band and formed the lame ass Clash Mark II or whatever, but technically, that was a different band). :P

Split up on purpose at the height of their creativity to avoid overstaying their welcome. Would that the Buttholes Surfers had done the same.

|
the other night and before it started they were playing Tim on the stereo, and all I could was I'd rather be watching the Replacements.
