Just downloaded and watched an interesting bit of history...

well actually sad history. I stumbled across a bit torrent site that had 3 nightly news broadcasts the day after John Lennon was killed. They were complete broadcasts and it was interesting to have a little historical perspective of that dark day.

Another sad bit about it was the defeat of a fair housing bill that was going on at the time. It was a crushing defeat for liberals in the senate and it was really the beginning of the end of our influence in the congress.
