"I'm a hopeless romantic."
This morning at church, Skip and I were sitting in the entry way between the sanctuary and the parish hall. Vince, one of the older guys at church, came in and I introduced them. I love this old guy. He's one of my favorite people in the world. Anyway, he sees that we're holding hands. He says, "You're holding hands." And he smiles. I think he's gonna tease me because such is our relationship. "I'm a hopeless romantic." He's not the kind of guy you think of when you think hopeless romantic. He's in his 60s. He's a disabled Viet Nam Vet. He's big and gruff. This is the guy I call "Ornery" because we tease each other, and he threatens to beat me with his cane. LOL "I've found my soul mate and it's just wonderful, and I love seeing people in love. I love seeing people find their soul mates." He is such a beautiful person.
And I gotta say, I totally agree with what he said. It's beautiful. If you haven't found your soul mate yet, keep looking. They're out there. I promise.

2. I found mine, he's gone....

Maybe he'll come back, if that's who he was.

If there's better than that, whoa. True love is fantabulous.

5. I'm sorry someone you love left, but if if he left he was not "the one".
"the one" won't leave unless forced to (usually at gun point) and will love you more than you think you deserve and it will be amazing. I know I found mine and married him 21 years ago in a few days. And it is the most amazing relationship I've ever had the good fortune to experience. You will find him and you will know. I knew in about 1 week once we started dating. Sorry for being so sappy and vague.
