My kid flooded the bathroom
I swear the child is eight years old, and somehow managed to get two inches of water on the bathroom floor which seeped through to each of the kids rooms and into the hall. Every towel in the house is now hanging on my deck.

This is not what I signed up for.

1. Well just wait until one of you kids falls asleep with the water running
and it starts coming through the downstairs ceiling. There's a fun time, and I speak from experience.

2. Heh. How cute.
Isn't it great when they do those things? And then they stare at you blankly while you slowly go insane.

3. Give my congrats to the kid...
(from one troublemaker to another ;))

Just be lucky you caught it before it reached 2 feet.

I was a kid long enough (even worse with two sisters) to realize that having them is something one should consider VERY carefully.

7. Well, we don't have stairs or bunkbeds
So, I guess she can't do those things. My son is ten and has done some pretty messed up stuff in his short little life, but never did anything quite like this. At first, she told me that she accidentally filled the tub too full. Then she told me that she didn't fill the tub too full, she splashed all of that water out. She claims she didn't see the mess she made until she got out of the tub. She tried to clean it up with toilet paper, so there were big wads of soaked tp on the floor too. She didn't call for help because she didn't want to get in trouble.

We live in a trailer and my son heard water in his air vent...then stepped in a puddle in the hall. He came running screaming "Mommy, something's leaking!!" Yeah, your little sister's brain.
