I don't remember it getting that cold when I lived there and I was about 100 feet up in the hills.

My heater IS working, however. We have a gas log fireplace insert with a blower that really keeps us pretty warm, and use a electric oil heater to warm the bedrooms and bath at night.
It all works well and we're not doing bad.
