I think we need a Travel Group

A place to swap travel experiences and important hints, ask for help and ideas, maybe even organize things.

DU is a pretty global affair by now, many places have resident DUers - a vast almost untapped resource for insider information on many destinations.

Any ideas?

I love a good bargain, an interesting destination, a better restaurant, and some ideas about "locals."

I have posted on Rick Steves' site and discussed European travel there, and it's been helpful.

My attempts to produce English texts tend to be pretty desperate affairs.
Is anybody good at writing and willing to formulate a draft for the Mission Statement?
