32. Titanic
Go ahead and flame away. It's reverse engineered by an engineer: sad trapped rich girl can only find love with a renegade; the po' folks are the only ones who understand life, and the rich people are uniformly fucked up, except for the one (Molly Brown) who's actually from the po' class.

Stilted dialogue, calculated emotion and extreme predictability show much better when the monies spend are so great.

Yeah, it's got a great sinking sequence, and yeah, it's got great technical prowess, but it's deeply fake at the core of its soul and it shows. Idiocy writ large is much more deplorable than that done on the outskirts.

65. My SO and I both hated that
I think that's when we realized we were destined for each other. We kept hissing "get off the goddamned boat already".

When they were on the ice floe, and she finally let go of his hand, we both turned to each other and said "ooops!" People around us in the theater were annoyed - they all loved it.

I wouldn't say it's the worst movie ever, but I'd go with "worst blockbuster"

41. USS VD: Ship of Shame
http://www.badmovies.org/movies/shipshame/

This was a World War II training film on the dangers of the clap. It is the third-worst movie ever made, but numbers one and two don't have webpages devoted to them.

The second-worst movie ever made was The Quiet War. Another training film, The Quiet War focused on the need for telephone security. In it, an Evil Communist Spy parked his car below an Army base's terrestrial microwave tower, listened in on a lot of phone calls, found out that an officer was going to move a double-secret device that will Destroy the Commies for Sure from one base to another by putting it in the back of his own convertible and driving alone up a twisty mountain road, blocked the twisty mountain road, hit the dumbass officer upside the head, stole the double-secret device, poured five gallons of gas over said dumbass officer, set his back seat on fire and shoved the convertible off a 10,000-foot cliff. If you thought it was bad now, it gets worse: all they worried about was how Fred was deader than shit and How Could We Have Saved Fred's Life by Not Discussing Secrets On The Phone instead of Oh Fuck, Now The Commies Have The Double Secret Device And They Are Using It Against Us. Of course, there wasn't even the hint of a mention of the minor sticking point that you're not supposed to be driving classified things around in your own car in the first place.

The very worst movie was the How to Use the Agency Standard Terminal Workstation video Fort Meade put out. An ASTW was an IBM XT running MS-DOS. They spent five minutes explaining the Terrible Disasters that would befall you if you put a floppy disk in the machine upside down, and you could do that on a 5.25-inch floppy drive.

Rat Fink A Boo-Boo is the worst film of all time. It was so bad MST3K wouldn't go near it with a 10,000 foot pole.

If it weren't for the running MST3K commentary, it would truly be unwatchable. Plan 9 has some serious competition here.
