1. No contest imo
The Glimmer Twins for the raw nasty approach to Rock 'n' Roll, the way it was meant to be.

2. Rolling Stones for Best Rock & Roll Band
Beatles for best musicians. Their music goes way beyond the usual confines of rock. But I love both.

10. And, obviously nothing can or will kill Keith Richards
Robin Williams said it best: "At the end of the world, there will only be five cockroaches and Keith Richards..."

9. Stones for many reasons.
For one they have more members, numbers are always good to have in war. Secondly, you simply cannot kill Keith Richards, he's undead. Third we have The Beatles wimp factor, sure they made a lot of good songs but they made a whole lot of wimpy, drippy, pussweed songs as well. The Beatles sing about handholding love, The Stones sing about fucking. For strength of catalog you have to go Stones.

11. Beatles
love them both though. Funny, the Beatles always seemed a bit more "uppercrust" than the Stones but actually the Beatles came from poorer backgrounds than the Stones.

14. Beatles of course...
The Stones just ripped off every blues riff they could find...and Jagger and Richards are the ugliest mothers around...

15. The Stones
They rock!
The Beatles are very good, too, but they are Musak more often than not. I guess that some would say this has to do with their melodic sense.
The Stones are still rockin' today.
