Poll question: Venture Bros. or The Tick?
The cartoon, not the ill-fated live action version.

I don't remember Tick well enough for an adequate comparison. I do love Venture Bros. though.

lol, what the hell, I'll go with Tick. Look at him!

Did you watch the tv show too (not the cartoon one)?

I was so sad it was canceled.

5. Yeah, I didn't care for the live action version.
It's funny. The Tick cartoon came around before Adult Swim. There wasn't a place for cartoons like it to go to. So they scheduled it on weekday afternoons, with childrens programming, where it stagnated. Kids didn't get half the material. Then, when they made it a live action show, they put it in prime time but they, ironically, dumbed down a lot of the jokes, and by necessity most of the action was cut.

IMHO, the Tick should be a cartoon and programmed with other cartoons for adults.

6. Brock Samson is the Tick!
Patrick Warburton does the voice of Brock Samson in the Venture Brothers and was also The Tick in the live action show. I voted for both, but lean towards the Venture Brothers. The Venture Brothers even had a goof of the Star Wars Kid in the tag sale episode. Although The Tick does have The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight.
