Question. What do you think of a freeper Mom , who goes with
other freeper Moms and their children and toilet papers people's houses? She says the kids need to be "taught" how to have "good clean fun!" She said they need instruction in how to do it! I am NOT making this up. She admitted this at a social gathering held at the home of someone she had done it to. She was asked if it had been politically motivated as she had B/C signs up and the victim had all her Kerry signs stolen the night before the election. She ginned and said" of course not!" I think this is weird and wrong. The hostess pointed out that it took her hubby a long time to remove the TP from the gutters and the higher spots of the roof. Ms, Freeper replied that she supposed they expected her son to help. The hostess said yes. I still think this is violating personal property and a very poor lesson for children. And they take other kids with them. They reason that done under "adult supervision" this is "okay" Any comments?

1. Why does this not surprise me?
Their party thinks it's just okee-dokee to smear opposing candidates and their families, suppress and intimidate voters, and steal elections. Why would not some of these fine 'moral values' rub off on the constituents? They are just following the example set for them.

2. I TPed twice in HS - both were acts of aggression.
I feel sorry still for them. Their parents were the ones that had to clean...... . I was behaving in an immature and stupid manner.

This 'mother' needs to GROW UP!

Sick, sick, sick.

20. They only TP here at homecoming.
If you are popular, your house gets TPed.

It is a status symbol.

The kids who do it will help clean up, if you ask them.

It is not meant to be anything more than a prank here.

9.  I wouldn't as it is too stupid. She said she wanted them to learn not to
throw eggs or bottles. She said she always does this on Halloween! She said she had used up %0 rolls of TP. Isn't this "contributing tothe deliquency of a minor" or am I a "fuddy duddy "as she implied? It seems strange to encourage kids, with parental approval , to treapass and cause potential damage to property? She said it taught them NOT to be destructive or do "worse".

24. It's a crime, and more so if an ADULT does it.
I'd call CrimeStop if I were you, C. I've had to do it myself, and they are damn careful about protecting your identity. If she told you (it's not a secret that you're a big D around here, ya know?), she's told others.

Seriously, this is sick--mom needs to know the law applies to her, too.

Wouldn't want it to ever happen to HER, would we???

Still, I know a few kids who'll help out if necessary, but they work with paint, not collage, if you catch my drift...

5. This woman is stupid
For one thing, TP'ing someone's house is supposed to be an act of rebellion, not something you do with your mom for Gawd's sake!

Second, she is teaching her kids how to disrespect democracy. However I should expect nothing less from a freeper.

8. Odd.
Not a very good lesson to be teaching your children.

'Here son, let's go break the law to have some fun. Just don't get caught.'

Not in my household.

13. All the more odd.
What was she thinking?

I know one family of children my kids would not be allowed to be around.

And I would explain why as well.

And I bet she was one of those 'morals' voters too.

What bs.

26. Call Crime Stop.
Bad enough that she contributes to her OWN child's delinquency, but if she's doing it to others, she maybe needs a visit from CPS.

If you talk to the cops, it could happen.

This woman is SICK.

woman has some real 'issues'. If she wants to teach her kids something she should teach them to not only respect others property but other's right to have an opinion.

14. That will eventually backfire.
To actively teach children to do something without principle-that is, doing harm to others-will teach those children to be less principled.

That lack of respect will teach those children to disrespect their parents. Woe unto them in their later years.

I've gone TPing, and it was fun. It was never malicious, and all but one time my cohorts and I appeared to help clean up.

The only thing wrong with this woman is her going along.

16. what a weird bitch..I'm probably the most political person on my street
I never see political signs or bumper stickers on any cars on this street.

I've campaigned for a few Democrats, and succeeded in getting some of my neighbors to support them. But all the active Repukes are in the subdivision just south of us.

No Repuke could dare enter our house unannounced, without getting attacked by the dogs!!!

17. Fuck that. I would teach her and her kids a lesson.
Call the police on her. She confessed in front of other people, no? Then, after she gets a ticket, TP your own house again and blame it on her, and make her clean it up.

Nobody's going to believe her if she says she didn't do it after that.

A little Rove style politics for you, except coming from the other side.

21. what happens when they TP the house of someone that will shoot them?
Sooner or later, they will TP the home of a person who isn't a happy camper and who owns a gun.

Death shouldn't be the penalty for TP'ing a home but ..hell...this is America afterall. People have been shot for less.

Why on earth is a parent teaching a child how to TP a house?
Why does this parent think it funny?
Somehow, I'm not feeling the "family value" aspects of this family project.

Unless , of course, this family has no values.

Someone TP'd her house and the following nite, my son was to sleep over there. She said that she was plotting her revenge and I expressly told her that I didn't want my son TP'ing. What did she do?? Needless to say, he isn't allowed there anymore.

I won't call the cops on kids, it's a juvenile prank. But if I see a parent with them, I'm calling!
