3. I saw John Willlams at Boston Pops w/Josh Groban
Williams did a medley of all his movie music and I was in heaven. Each piece had a special memory it evoked.

5. I had to vote Schindler's List for one reason only . . .
and it really isn't because of Williams, it's because of Itzhak Perlman's violin work.

9. Although Perlman's performance was outstanding
it "really isn't because of" that beautiful theme he was playing?!

11. The theme was no doubt beautiful, but very few could have

rendered it with the emotion that Perlman brought to the piece.

I will say this . . . Schindler's List is the ONLY time I've ever purchased a CD of the score from a movie :)

6. "The Empire Strikes Back"
I voted for Star Wars, but I wanted to qualify my vote for that movie specifically. I think that one really stands out. Yoda's theme, the Imperial March, and the Love Theme. Awesome.

10. Other: 'The Rievers". A Steve McQueen film from 1969.
Based on William Faulkner's last novel. The score is wonderful; simply sublime. You've got to listen to it.
