PLEASE! Can someone babysit this love-diddly-oving cat??
Edited on Tue Dec-07-04 12:15 PM by DeposeTheBoyKing
I am studying for exams. Because all of our good furniture is at our new home in Dallas, I am living very spartanly while finishing law school in Pittsburgh. I am currently making final notes in preparation for Friday's exam and am doing so on a wobbly card table, my current "desk." Simba INSISTS on jumping on the table, knocking everything off, walking over the keyboard and lying on my book (and arms) as I try to type. Despite repeated attempts to cast him off my arms, he keeps returning. Can someone come over and provide a surrogate lap for about 3 days while I study? Here's a picture of the offending beast:

EDIT: I can't be frustrated with him - he keeps looking up at me with love and purring his contentment to me. I guess I'll just have to work around him.

My own four-legged little girl (an Aussie-Lab mix) also feels neglected when I get preoccupied with a project and lets me know it! Wish I were in Pittsburgh, but not sure your little one would want to fly out to Denver! Good luck and hugs to your kitty.

5. I'm trying, believe me
He just jumped back on for the 27th time, bless his little heart. It's just that my book is small and he covers it up entirely! As long as he's comfortable, that's all that matters!

6. Give him your shirt
or your jeans, or some other article of clothing that you've worn.

Make him a little pad on the table next to your workspace and see if you can encourage him to lay on that.
