1. Gotta go with the classic...Neuromancer.
The original cyberpunk novel!

3. It's a good 'un
But did you see a proposed screenplay for NEUROMANCER? I did - apparently it was the abandoned Cabana Boy project. The script sucked, pure and simple.

4. No doubt one of the big criticisms should it ever be a movie....
...is that it "ripped off" the Matrix. LOL

7. Mutterings of the unwashed heathen... :)
But it might be best if Neuromancer sits on the shelf for a few more years to let some of the Matrix vibe die down.

I saw Johnny Mnemonic in the theater. William Gibson pulled off a good directing job, but Keanu Reeves stunk on ice. He delivered his lines as though he had a corncob wedged in his butt. I enjoyed him much more in the Matrix trilogy.

As a hobby, I'm working on a screenplay for Burning Chrome. Someone's already turned the short story into a play (haven't seen it), but I think it would make a damn fine film with the right director. If only Quentin Tarantino were halfway interested in this genre...

2. I'm currently reading his script for Aliens 3
Never shot, based on a story by Walter Hill. Features Hicks but only a cameo from Ripley!!! Kinda a Cold War feel to it...

9. Was that the same as DOGFIGHT?
If so, good read - very disturbing, too.

11. "Neuromancer": 'A'; "Count Zero": 'B'; "Mona Lisa Overdrive": 'D'
Shoulda dropped it after "Count Zero".

12. Of the three, NEUROMANCER'S my favorite
Don't remember much from the other two - it's been a while. I know Molly shows up again in MLO to safeguard that Yakuza daughter. I like Molly.
