It's a discount grocery chain that offers non-food items that it picks up on special buys -- Computers, dishware, blankets, toys...
I have tried them and found them quite good with some draw backs. But hey it a German company and that's a good thing!
They often beat Walmart and now they offer beer (well a beer that they compare a certain Danish beer).

2. Yes, at lest once a month |

very low frills and almost all of the prices are lower than anything in the area. I usually just get the basics but anything is better than Walmart

It's NOT Walmart and the Red Staters may well not realize that the nice ALDI stores they enjoy offering discounts have evil European owners.

Aldis has been a blessing here,Hubbie is making about 1/3 of what he used to and I'm still looking for a job.(been two months)I get twice as many grocery's for the same price.I truly don't think I could have kept the kids fed if not for them.

6. Oh, there's a "political reason" to not shop anywhere these days! |
|
But it has to do with the fact that their employess are non-Union. They do get paid generously, though, something like $12 an hour with benefits.

8. We have one but it's way on the other side of town |
|
If I didn't have to drive so far to get there, I'd shop there. But I'm lazy.

I love it. My favorite store. Be wary of the produce. Milk prices are not always lowest. Have my Aldi's quarter in the ash tray of both cars
