26. Bryson Elementary School
in Simpsonville, SC. I have no idea where my dentist, her assistant, the oral surgeon or his assistant learned to count though. :)

6. Yes. And I really do live in WV, too.
which means that even having lost 5 yesterday, I still have more teeth than average here.

14. I only had three wisdom teeth
Only one of which has been removed. The other two are still sittin' in there minding their own buisness, being good. :-)

I have an extra lumbar in my spine. Apparently most people have five, I have six  go figure. Somewhere along the line I musta traded a little wisdom for some extra spine

7. Human! Usually...
I just happened to have more teeth than most people. When I was a kidlet, I had 10 other teeth removed because I had too many (only four were permanent teeth) Just weird I guess.

My mom had 6 wisdom teeth, BTW.

8. Five??
I also thought you only got four. Do you think the dentist got one of your regular teeth?
If not, maybe you were just an extra-wise person.

10. Enjoy all the jello!
Three wisdom teeth were my surgical quota, long long ago. You must have been extra-wise to have the extra, or else the pain meds are making you see double. Now you can be toofless and dumb like the rest of us.

22. Awright!!!
Yeah, I had forgotten that. I never ate so much ice cream in my life as after that surgery. But the flavors and choices available decades later are paradisical compared to the few that I had available then. Why, in those days I had to walk barefoot through 6 feet of snow, 10 miles a day....

Heal fast and be well.

trying to suck down some mashed potatoes, I looked like my little 6 month old nephew with more going all over and my tongue completely confused as to how to push them taters back. Did NOT let dear hubby take photos, though he threatened to.

30. How do you know if you have them?
Do they always make their presence known?

My parents and siblings had them, so it would seem that I should have them as well, but nothing has emerged thus far.

31. Oain from them prompted a series of X-rays, but since they only hurt maybe
twice a year when they try to escape from under the gum line..and make it far enough to open a hole where.. never mind.. that bit is gross. *g* I mostly don't mind them. We'll I coulda done without them making my front teeth crooked but hey, that's life.

29. Not that I'm an expert, but I didn't think there WERE five wisdom teeth
Maybe I was wrong.

I guess anything is possible. I supposedly have at least one extra rib. When I was a child, a doctor felt my abdomen and reacted in horror. She immediately diagnosed me with severe acute speen inflamation, and sent me to a specialist who luckily recognized what it was in the x-rays.

33. Ugh, I feel for you.
I had two removed years ago and have two coming through now, (and I am 46). Not fun, but I had a reaction to anesthesia and didn't want to take the chance. Good luck on your recovery.
