What ever happen to Waiters and Waitresses?

Now they are called "Servers." I guess the can pay 'em less with that title. Same as with co-workers, now they are my "associates."

8. That conjures up images

...of any Bennigans, Chili's, TGI Fidays's, Applebees, etc. in Anywhere, U.S.A. Those places suck, I always leave there wondering why the hell I decided to eat there in the first place.

I think, if I recall correctly, that feminized endings were considered sexist. Made it seem like masculine was normal and the preferred gender.
