Wow... that was scary
I just woke up under water. I'm not feeling too good today -- and decided to indulge in a mid-day bath. We've got this great jacuzzi tub and I was completely enjoying the jets and bubbles. I guess it was relaxing... too relaxing. I woke up with my head under the water, snorting my bubble bath.

It was scary as hell... not to mention the patchouli bubble bath stings the nose.

So, how's your day going?

2. My day is fine
but you really got to be careful with things like that. I once fell asleep smoking a cigarette in bed. The pain woke me up and I still have a scar on my fingers from it.

9. My grandmother died from smoking in bed...
I was only two; I never really knew her. I only have one memory of her, and it was just of seeing her - no real memory.

3. I just dug out from four inches of new snow. You be careful in those
tubs. They are waaaaaay to comfortable for your own good. :+

4. I only ever sleep in a regular sized tub.. I can't get underneath the
water enough to drown.

And MAN I am glad YOU didn't drown!!

*hugs*

5. Glad you're okay!
That would be a freaky sensation. We have one in our new Dallas home, and I'm anxious to move there and make use of it. I took a bath in it during my visit last month and spent at least an hour in it. Didn't fall asleep, though!

6. Dude...
That's way scary, knowing the average person can drown in as little as a teaspoon of water.

I think patchouli in the bubble bath is a little scarier to me, though. I'm no fan of patchouli or rose oil, or any hippy scent. I'd probably be sniffing raw grapefruit juice to rid it from my nostrils.

7. I remember reading a story in Denver several years ago
about a couple found dead in a hot tub. They were drinking - got in the tub and were found several days later. They were described as being like chickens that had been thrown in a slow cooker!!!!

8. I passed out in a tub once
I had wicked cramps and was having a VERY hot bath. I was laying on my back in the tub until I couldn't stand it anymore, then I would get out and lay on the bathroom floor. I did this for about 40 minutes. I woke up in the tub about an hour later. The water was grazing my temples and my bottom lip. Keep in mind I was also full of painkillers. I'm so lucky I didn't turn my head. I was also home alone.

Good to be lucky sometimes.

Whew!

In case you didn't know (don't take this the wrong way) patchouli reaks.

Funny post though.

12. Patchouli is my last known addiction
I love it... been in love with it ever since I used it on sore/cramping muscles the first time. It's the most relaxing essential oil for me.

If you aren't using real essential oils, however, it does stink. :)

Kiss My Face has a new line called Peaceful Patchouli - it's heaven.

11. My brother was nursing
an back injury in his own unique way (percocet and liquor of some sort) and sitting in at tub as it filled. He fell asleep (DEEEP sleep...). He woke up about 45 minutes later in a tub of cold water and discovered it had been overflowing most of the time he was in it. The overflow either didn't work well enough - or more likely - the knucklehead plugged it with a wash cloth to get the water level higher - which he succeded in doing. The overflowing water ran down the heating register on the floor and totally flooded the basement.

We share genes and it scares me...
