How do you write a Radio Show Proposal?

I've always wanted host a radio show, today I got my opportunity. I have to write a Program Application.

All I want to do is go on the air and interview writers, artists and activists. (And maybe go off on a little rant occasionally.)

The above sentence is all I've been able to write all day. Has anyone ever written one of these things before? Does anyone have a template I could use? Any advise?

1. What's your criteria for selecting guests?

You should mention that. Is your show of local or of national interest, or both?

What shows do you admire (and would be your competition), and in what way can your show be distinguished from them?

I don't know anything about radio, but I think these questions might help.
