I have Scabies. Ask me anything.
I have a combative patient at work, who flays, grabs and tries to climb out of be every 2 minutes. And guess what wonderful little creatures she brought to our facility?

7. Microscopic parasitic mites that live and breed on human skin.
Thier fecal matter causes allergic reaction to 90% of humans. Rashes that spread and itch badly.

9. Alemite is my best friend.
Went to the doctor this morning and she wrote me a script for Alemite, a cream that kills the mites. I have to cover my body with the cream and wash all of my clothes, towels, bedding...

15. Quell liquid on from the neck down overnight or
or two. Prescription only I think. My wife to be at the time and I shared a long distance telephone conversation 20 years ago where we both descibed a lot of itching on our arms and legs. We traced it back to a bed we used as house guests weeks before of a friend that had similar itching at the time. Clean all the sheets and clothes too!

13. We do but she's an alcoholic and drug addict who hasnt been sober
in 12 years so she's climbing the walls with hysteria. She also had a brain injury/surgery due to a brutal beating from a boyfriend.
We give her morphine, ativan, valium and haldol. No effect at all.

14. Good lord. Health care workers like you are the real heroes.
That you can do what you do every day is awe-inspiring and humbling, especially when I complain about my little job irritants. You rock!

18. Did it start itching right away, or did it take like a day after you took
care of that patient?

"Gorry don't it itch!" (Stephen King character, "Creepshow")
